
The Hoffmann's Two-Toed Sloth (Choloepus hoffmanni), also called the northern two-toed sloth, is the largest of all seven sloth species. They are one of two species of two-toed sloth, the other being the southern two-toed sloth.
Looks[]
Unlike three-toed sloths, they have soft fur, a cream-colored face, two front digits that are able to move separately, a bare patch of fur on their paws, an elongated muzzle, and no tail.
Lifespan[]
Up to 20 years in the wild. Up to 30 years in captivity.
Diet[]
Hoffman's two-toed sloths eat mostly leaves and unlike most wild animals, sloths can even eat chocolate without getting sick.
