The golden pheasant (Chrysolophus pictus) is a species of pheasant native to Asia. They have plump bodies, long tails, short legs, short beaks, big wings, brown and buff feathers barred with black in females, broad, square-tipped feathers forming a cape in males, orange, green and gold upperparts and red bellies, also in males.
