
The Cross River Gorilla (Gorilla gorilla diehli) is a subspecies of Western Gorilla native to Africa. They have brownish-black fur, dark skin, squished-up noses, short legs, long strong arms, small ears, front-facing eyes, silver fur on their backs, bums, and thighs in mature males, long sharp canine teeth, and, like all apes, have no tails.
