The common octopus (Octopus vulgaris) is a species of octopus native to tropical and temperate coasts. They have big round mantles (muscular sacs), tubular ink sacs, big orange eyes with rectangular pupils, sharp beaks with a poisonous bite in between their eight long tentacles with twin rows of round suckers.
